Join us as we present our own celebration of youthful virtuosity with our next Young Artists' Competition winner(s). Past winners have graduated from the Julliard School of Music and Dance, The Cleveland Institute of Music, and many of our nation's finest schools of music We wish them well, even as we welcome the next winner(s) into their circle

We conclude our 30th Anniversary Celebrations with our country's best known and most loved masterpiece: The New World Symphony by Bohemian composer and American visitor Antonin Dvorak. Join us as we welcome the Health Sciences Orchestra of the University of Minnesota and former members of the Dakota Valley Symphony for a grand orchestral festival with well over 100 musicians on stage!

2016 Young Artists Competition!


The Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Young Artists Competition. Two young performers were chosen and we look forward to their performances with great enthusiasm.

This years winners are Anders Peterson and Katia Tesarczyk and they will be joining us in performance on April 24th, 2016 at 2 p.m. as part of our Young Artists' and Orchestra Festival at the Ames Center in Burnsville. Please click on the images below for more information about our two guests.
